About
ABOUT ME:
Welcome to Chase Case Colorado, my blog dedicated to my storm chasing hobby. As for me, I’ve been chasing now for about 4 years. The 2011 season will be my fifth. I have always been a weather enthusiast but didn’t really start learning and studying about severe weather until 5 years ago. I am completely self taught (and still learning new stuff everyday) and do not own a meteorology degree in any way. I attended Metropolitan State College of Denver from 1996-2001 where I got a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in English. After a very brief flirtation with the possibility of attending law school, I ditched that idea and moved to Orlando, FL and got an Associates of Science degree in Audio Production for Film & Television from Full Sail. After Florida, I moved to Los Angeles and worked at a small audio post-production studio working mostly on films. I did that for almost 2 years and now here I am, 32 years old and I work in television for the Versus network back here in Colorado. I help run, switch, edit, and coordinate live events for the network including the NHL, WEC, PBR, IndyCar Series, UFL, and college football and basketball. I love what I do despite the stress it can cause sometime.
On this blog you will find all of my chase accounts, forecasts, my live chase cam, and all things non-weather related on the Vegablog. Thanks for stopping by and comments are always welcome!

The Colorado chasing community is fantastic! We are lucky to have not only some of the best chasers in the country, but all of us know each other, respect each other, and often times chase with each other. On the big days, my car is usually at capacity. I love getting out there with others but enjoy going it solo as well.
