Whew, this has been a doozy!  The snow has finally stopped for the moment.  The trough that dug in and brought this prolonged snow storm has finally started to show signs of moving out.  My ruler to measure the snow totals got buried so it’s well over 12 inches here in Englewood.  My guess would be about 15″ or so.  Is this the start of a long winter, or just the usual October dumpfest followed by a mild few months of cold weather?  I’m hoping for the latter of course but we shall see.
